AI Camera Security System Management Will Apply for Padma Bridge

The Padma Bridge is a two label road-rail bridge over the Padma River. It connects Madaripur and Shariatpur with the southeast of the country to the northern and eastern regions. The Bridge was inaugurated in June 25, 2022. It is the most challenging construction in the history of Bangladesh. The Padma Bridge carries a four lane highway on the upper level and a single track railway on the lower level. Ii is the longest bridge in Bangladesh with a total length of 6.15 km.

Under Advanced Traffic Management System(ATMS), there have been surveyed at Padma Bridge to setup Artificial Intelligence Camera, Toll and Bridge Management for modernization. Now design making process is going on quickly. Padma Bridge is going to be under AI Camera Security System that is similar to the international standard. Padma Bridge’s operation and management will have controlled from the control room. Vehicles plate number identification, speed measurement will be monitored. Advanced Security System will be applied within December, 2022.
